Moomin Branding

A personalized reimagining of the "Moomin" universe.

Drawing from main characters on the show, this brand explores the conceptualization of comfort and whimsical Finnish folklore through color choice, typography, and layout, ultimately capturing the charming nature of a childhood favorite show.

  • A whimsical moomintroll-cartoon hypothetical brand kit put together after visiting @moominshophawaii inspired by the original series "Moomin™."

  • All Moomin characters sillouettes were hand drawn by me on Procreate, inspired by previously produced characterizations.

  • This is a self exploratory project - all designing was done by me.

    Designing this fictional branding has allowed me to experiment more with logo design, typography, and colorways to build a cohesive identity.
